Employment Services

Employment Services provide job seekers with an individually tailored package of assistance to improve their job prospects, find suitable work and successfully maintain employment. FWS recognises that some job seekers will benefit from rapid connection to job opportunities while others may require a longer period of assistance to prepare for work and achieve their employment goals.

Many job seekers are confronted with a range of issues or barriers when considering employment. These can include:

  • An illness, injury or disability
  • Lack of job searching skills
  • No formal qualifications or industry training
  • Language barriers or low literacy skills
  • Family commitments
  • Accommodation or financial issues
  • Restricted transport or rural isolation
Our employment services team understands the importance of addressing these barriers. Partnership are formed with job seekers to identify a strategy for dealing with personal issues impacting on employment and agreeing on a plan aimed at achieving a job outcome.
